Smoothies
Banana and oat smoothie (serves 2)

1 large or 2 small bananas

7fl oz ice cold milk

1 tablespoon rolled porridge oats

2 ice cubes
Place all ingredients into the blender, mix for approximately 30 seconds.
Energy blast smoothie (serves 2)

1 1/2 cups of soy milk

1 banana, broken into pieces
-
2 tbsp. peanut butter
Place all ingredients into the blender, blend until thick and smooth.
Serve and enjoy
Very berry good smoothie (serves 2)

1/4 cup of blueberries
-
1/4 cup of raspberries
-
1 large banana
-
100ml of low fat berry yogurt, orange juice and ice
Place all ingredients in mixer. Blend for approximately 30 seconds
Banana, oats and blueberry smoothie (serves

2 apples
-
2 handfuls of blueberries
-
½ banana
-
2 handfuls of blueberries

2 teaspoons of honey
-
200g natural yoghurt or 200ml soya milk
-
20g oats
Cut the apple into wedges, put them through the juicer and pour into the
blender. Add the banana, honey and blueberries. Whizz until nice and smooth.
Add the yoghurt and oats and pulse 4 times.
If yoghurt doesn't agree with you, use 200ml of Soya milk instead.
Detox with a Pineapple, blueberry and ginger
smoothie (serves 1)

½ orange
-
½ pineapple
-
½ banana
-
2 handfuls of blueberries
-
A nice bit of fresh ginger
Squeeze the juice from the orange. Remove the skin from the pineapple,
chop into chunks and put them through the juice. Peel and chop the banana
and pop it in the blender with the blueberries, orange and pineapple juice.
Peel and finely grate a nice chunk 1-2cm of ginger into the blender. Wizz
and 1 generous serving is ready.
