About Gecko Fitness

Team Gecko

At Gecko Fitness, not only do we pride ourselves on the high standard of knowledge that our fitness coaches possess, but also on the personalities and characters of the people we select to care for your health and fitness. We have a team of both male and female coaches all with different skills and qualities. This is essential to enable you to build that vital relationship between you and your coach, which will be the key to your success. All Gecko coaches can be found on the Register of Exercise Professionals, ensuring safe and effective training and professionalism throughout.

Aynsley Fry - Fitness Director

Already a familiar face having worked as a fitness coach in the Berkshire area for more than ten years, Aynsley heads Gecko Fitness. Aynsley holds some of the highest recognised qualifications in the industry and insists that all his coaches are members of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). This means they attend workshops on a regular basis in order to continuously supply up-to-date information on health and fitness. Aynsley comes from a background of boxing and football and now competes on the wakeboarding circuit. He contributes regular fitness articles to Wakeboard & Waterski magazine.

Claire Spizick - Head of Fitness Coaching

If you're looking for someone to kick-start your new fitness regime, then Claire is the person to do just that. She is a highly motivated fitness coach who helps clients maintain a healthy lifestyle through improved nutrition and fitness. She is a certified stability ball and Bosu trainer and runs Gecko's very successful Core Conditioning classes. As with all Gecko's coaches she is a member of REPs and is currently studying for her Diploma in Optimum Nutritional Therapy. Claire comes from an equestrian background, enjoys wakeboarding and competes on the mountain bike circuit.
